Quarter Two Outreach Opportunity #3: Volunteer at the Capital Area Food Bank

Come out and provide emergency food assistance to those in need!

Join us on Saturday, June 27, 2015 for our 2015 Quarter Two Outreach to the Capital Area Food Bank (CAFB)! CAFB is a food bank with locations in Washington, DC and Lorton, VA, where our very own alumnus, Carl Vacketta, sits on the Board of Directors.

The mission of the Capital Area Food Bank is to feed those who suffer from hunger in the Washington metro area by acquiring food and distributing it through its network of partner agencies; and educating, empowering and enlightening the community about the issues of hunger and nutrition. CAFB is a member of Feeding America, a national network of 200 food banks. For more information about the CAFB, click here.
