Tower Rooms at Beckman
Mediating among east and west wings, the Beckman Institute’s tower—a postmodern pastiche of brick, limestone and emerald glass—invites comparisons to Oz, though the Institute is less concerned with fantasy than the emerging science of artificial intelligence. Overlooking Beckman’s namesake Quad, the tower’s five floors house meeting rooms, the topmost reserved for receptions and banquets.
