Spice Box at Bevier Hall

It’s a small restaurant in a big building, and what’s on the menu every Wednesday and Friday evening is always the same—edible exams. Students of hospitality management demonstrate their flair for all things culinary by executing dinners of two- and four-courses for no fewer than six seatings, all in accordance with themed menus they’ve created. The payoff is gourmet cuisine for the budget-minded, who feast on fare prepared with nods to New Orleans, Cuba, Latin America—and grandma. Schedules are announced at the start of each semester and, no surprise, reservations are recommended.
