‘Motown: The Musical’ gives Illinois alumna first big break
For the past two years, Allison Semmes, ’06 FAA—who studied opera at the University of Illinois—has portrayed songstress Diana Ross in the Broadway’s Motown: The Musical. As that show finally closes, she reflects on her first big part and the doors it opened up for her.
