Steven Yahn, ’70 MEDIA—the first editor of Crain’s Chicago Business, who in 1978 helped establish its scoop-oriented reputation by disclosing Sears Roebuck’s plans that foreshadowed the retailer’s long decline—died on June 28, 2016.
